Amanda & Adam

Round 1: San Antonio

So maybe I am a bit biased....but thats pretty good lookin' couple. Right?

I am so happy I got to take these photos of my sister & soon to be brother-in-law. We spent the afternoon running around the Pearl Brewery in San Antonio where we shot all of these photos. I can't wait for my next chance to shoot more photos of these two! I have a feeling I might be their designated photog for years to come. Check out their wedding website

Jeff Bridges the photog.

He doesn't need an Oscar. He made a pretty great book of photography from the set of True Grit. Thats a better feat if you ask me :)

Check out the full book here. Look around the whole site while your there. Love his hand drawn posts like the one below. Interesting fellow.

Snyder Train Depot

I went out this weekend and took some photos for the Snyder Historical Commission of the old Snyder Santa Fe Train Depot. I think the are trying to get a grant to fix it up which is fine by me as long as they keep all the nice details like these pretty planters & the red brick walkway. I just happened to have perfect timing & saw a train come through. I even made friends with a conductor while I was there!

The dog days are over...

Someone has been watching too much HGTV in her time off. I found this table at a resale shop in San Antonio. I think the finished product will fit perfectly in my living room of my house that I don't have yet!

Well all that free time being unemployed sure was good for DIY pojects. I must admit, I was starting to get a little bored. GOOD NEWS is I have started my new job! I am now the campus graphic designer at Western Texas College! As well as setting up and soon to be teaching a Communication Design program in the fall. I already miss San Marcos a whole whole lot, but I think good things are to come!

Atlas... the dog days really are over.
